Cookie policy and personal data
Short version: we measure your visit on our own server, and we never sell or share your data. Long version below.

Who collects it
This site is operated by Chain Media. Chain Media is the data controller; contact: merhaba@chainmedia.co.
Which cookies we use
cm_v — visitor identifier. A randomly generated number stored in your browser for one year. It does not identify you on any other website; it only lets us tell whether the same browser has visited before. We do not link your name, email or IP address to it.
cm_s — session identifier. Groups the pages of a single visit, expires after two hours.
cm_c — your cookie choice, stored so the banner is not shown again.
cm_admin — created only for team members who log in to the admin panel. Visitors never have it.
What changes if I choose «Only necessary cookies»
Google's measurement and advertising tag (gtag.js) is not loaded at all, so none of your data reaches Google.
Our own measurement keeps running and the cm_v identifier above is still written. We state this openly: without it we cannot count unique visitors or know what to improve. This data stays on our server, is never transferred to third parties, is never sold, and is never used for ad targeting.
You can reset this choice at any time by clearing your browser cookies.
What we measure
Which pages are viewed, time spent on a page, how far the page was scrolled, which address you arrived from, browser and device type, screen width, browser language and time zone.
We estimate your country from your time zone — we never send your IP address to any external service for geolocation.
We also count actions such as submitting the contact form and clicking WhatsApp, phone or email links.
What we do not measure
We do not record mouse movements, keystrokes or your screen. We do not track you across other websites. We do not share profiles with advertising networks.
Contact form
If you submit the form, your name, email address, chosen topic and message are stored, along with your IP address and browser information as technical records. This data is used only to reply to you and assess your request.
How long we keep it
Detailed visit records are deleted after 90 days; only daily aggregate counts remain, which cannot be linked to a person.
Contact form submissions are kept for the duration of the business relationship or any applicable legal retention period.
Your rights
Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK no. 6698) and the GDPR where applicable, you may ask whether we process data about you, request information about it, and request correction or deletion.
Write to merhaba@chainmedia.co. Because your visitor identifier lives in a cookie in your browser, you may need to send us that number for a deletion request; clearing your browser cookies also severs the link entirely.
